My Techniques

My best-selling product  is colored pastel drawing on paper.  In a careful process I apply soft pastels to a custom velour paper, specially made for pastels. I use high quality, lightfast pastels from the best manufacturers such as Schmincke and Rembrandt. The finished drawing is given a multi-layer coating with a spray fixative. The picture is then rolled for shipping.

I always recommend framing pastel pictures with a passpartout (mat board) at least 4 cm wide. The picture should definitely get a glass for protection, the frame can be modern or classic.

Charcoal drawings require fewer layers compared to pastel drawings, which means that I can offer great prices for this product. 

I combine charcoal and white soft pastels which I apply on grey velour paper. A steady hand and lots of experience are needed in order to get realistic and satisfying results. Once finished, I apply a fixative on the surface of the drawing and roll it for shipment.

I recommend using a frame with passepartout (matting) and glass to protect the drawing over time.
